About 1/2 mile downstream from this point along the property boundary
of Barranca del Pueblo the Rio Pueblo joins the Rio Grande, which has
carved an 800-foot deep canyon through the high-desert, northern New
Mexico landscape. You can see this breathtaking gorge from the famous
Gorge Bridge, the second highest bridge on the
U.S. Highway system.
